Dark Rouen Duck - Baby: black
with yellow stripes on head, white on breast, black beak
and feet. Mature: similar to Mallard, but heavier.
Males have a lustrous green head and neck, purplish brown
chest and steel gray penciling on upper body. Hens are
mahogany brown with penciling of greenish black or brown.
Lay blue-green to almost white eggs. Weight: 6-8 lbs.
at 12-15 weeks.
