Great
Fastest growing cornish cross I've ever had. Definitely worth the extra cost for males only. Could have butchered at 6 or 7 weeks, but we waited till 9 due to being busy, and ended up with birds that dressed out at 7.5 lbs or more. Had 2 die very early on as chicks and one halfway through, but I suspect this was an anomaly.

I I am very pleased with this Hatchery this is the first year we've had this healthy of birds average weight on pasture is 8 lb in 10 weeks

My go-to meat bird hatchery
I won't order Cornish Broilers from any other hatchery. Welp has the best prices and these guys get huge! Last batch of 2021, I had a 10Lb 8oz'er at 9 weeks!

cornish rock
It was my first time ordering from welp and I have been very happy. The chicks arrived in a balmy 5 degree morning (Maine in march). 24 of the 26 survived and all are doing very well 2 weeks later. They are very good at calculating for the weather.

Cornish Rock broilers
I am impressed with this company. This is my first time ordering from them, and I ordered 25 Cornish Rock chicks. I got a phone call from Michelle letting me know when they would ship out, as well as a follow-up email with a tracking number. The chicks arrived the day after being shipped, and 2 extra were included. There was one loss during shipping, but I ended up with 26 very healthy chicks. Their prices are super competitive, and with free shipping, ordering from Whelp in the future is a no-brainer! I will be ordering all of my chicks from them from now on. Thanks Whelp!
