Crested Duck - Swedish - Straight Run

Crested Swedish Ducks are medium-sized ducks that are good layers of white eggs and have adequate meat. They have the same color pattern as the Swedish Duck, but also have a tuft of feathers on top of their heads. They are friendly, cold hardy and self-reliant. Babies have black bills and feet with yellow breasts. They can either be born blue or black and white. Mature ducks are blue with white on their wings. The front of their breasts is a pure white color forming a distinctive heart shaped bib, which is 4 or 5 inches wide at the base. Mature ducks weigh 6-8 lbs.
