Barnevelder - Female

Barnevelders originate from the Barneveld region of Holland and are known for laying a dark brown egg. Birds have a single comb and brown feathers with black necks. Babies have white chests with light and dark brown patches on their backs. They are dual purpose, cold hardy, quiet and stand confinement well. Females typically weigh 6 lbs. and males typically weigh 7 lbs.
