Jersey Giant - Black - Female

Black Jersey Giants are brown egg layers and dual-purpose. They are good exhibition chickens, friendly and can handle cold weather well. Babies are mostly black with creamy patches on their underbodies, wing tips and faces. The bottoms of their feet are yellow. Mature Black Jersey Giants have black plumage with a green sheen. The typical weight for a female is 10 lbs. and for a male is 13 lbs.
