Description
Barred Plymouth Rocks lay medium brown colored eggs and are dual-purpose. They are one of America's oldest and most popular breeds. These foragers are self-reliant, very quiet and friendly. As babies, they are black with white patches on their heads and bodies. When mature they are black and white barred in color. Male hackle feathers are used for fish fly tying. Their typical weights are 5 lbs. for females and 6 lbs. for males.

AWESOME CHICKENS!
Wow what great healthy awesome chickens. I purchased 25 of these chicks as pullets. They Arrived the first week of May 2021. Here it is 6 1/2 months later and I am getting my first eggs...IN THE MIDDLE of NOVEMBER! These are Big / Gentle Chickens. They all arrived in May in great health. But....and it is a GOOD THING....one of the 25 pullets was a Rooster. And turned out to be a magnificent specimen. Much superior to the picture in the WELP catalog. We were overjoyed to get him.

Ordered 5 of these and all arrived on time and healthy! Cute little peeps! Can't wait to for them to be adults and lay for me.
