Plymouth Rock - Partridge - Straight Run

Partridge Plymouth Rocks are brown egg layers and are dual-purpose. The breed is of American origin. They are friendly, self-reliant and can stand cold weather well. Babies have light brown bodies with darker heads and backs. Mature males have lustrous, rich red heads. Their hackle and saddle feathers are greenish-black with lacing of red. Females have deep reddish-bay heads. The plumage of the back, breast, and body are a deep reddish-bay with black penciling. The typical weight for females is 6.5 lbs. and for males is 7.5 lbs.
