Description
White Plymouth Rocks are medium sized birds and good layers of brown eggs. They are the second most popular variety of Plymouth Rocks and one of the basic breeds originally used in crosses for the production of broilers. These birds are excellent for dual-purpose. As foragers, they are very easy to handle and are friendly. They also grow rapidly, have a quiet disposition and are desirable for cold, winter months. Babies are light yellow and some may also be white with a touch of gray. When mature they have all white feathers and golden yellow skin making them easy to dress. Females typically weigh 6.5 lbs. and males typically weigh 7.5 lbs.
