Wyandotte - Golden Laced - Straight Run

Golden Laced Wyandottes lay a light to rich brown egg. They are dual purpose and provide meat as well. Of American origin, the birds are quiet and are good foragers. They are also cold hardy, friendly and broody. The chicks are short with deep, wide bodies. Babies are a flat, rich dark color with rose combs. When mature they are light golden-brown, laced with a greenish-black. Females typically weigh 5.5 lbs. and males typically weigh 7.5 lbs.
