Description
Broad Breasted White Turkeys produce sweet and tender meat and are the most popular breed of turkey. These birds are very popular among commercial farmers because of their fast growth, livability and feed conversion. Due to their large size, they do not reproduce naturally. Babies are yellow with a brown color on the end of their feathers. They have an all white color and are easy to dress. At 14 to 20 weeks, females weigh 14-20 lbs. At 20-24 weeks, males weigh 30-40 lbs.

Beautiful!
I have been getting turkeys (broad breasted white and bronze) from Welp Hatchery for about three years now. They are huge, healthy, beautiful birds. Friendly and curious too! Mine, at six months of age, usually weigh in at 37-50#. No leg troubles even at that age and weight. Highly recommend these birds and Welp Hatchery!

A great turkey for dinner and pest control
We have had fun raising these. We raised them with a half a dozen blue slate turkeys. The largest tom weighed 32 lbs and smallest tom was 28 lbs. The hens weighed between 18 and 22. They are the best grasshopper deterrent I have ever seen. Once they were released from the brooder they cleaned up all the grasshoppers within days.
