Description
Easter Eggers are excellent producers of large multicolored eggs, ranging from shades of blue and green to an occasional brown egg. They are not to be confused with Ameraucana chickens. Easter Eggers are friendly birds making them great pets. Since Easter Eggers are a hybrid breed, they come in a wide variety of colors. They can have either a single comb or a pea comb. Mature males weigh 6 lbs. and females weigh 5 lbs.

Hatchery quality EE's
My farm purchased 50 Easter Eggers to grow for our own homestead, so my customers can have colorful carton and sell the excess to folks who always ask me for EE's. Well, I wish I could share pictures of the ones I was sent. They are boring to look at. Most of them don't have beard nor muff which is a common trait of the EE. All are the same gold, patridge color. No variation whatsoever. I won't ever purchase EE's from Welp again. I am disappointed in how these look at 11 weeks. I look at him and I can tell the quality is rather poor.

Chicks
I ordered 5 of these along with some other breeds and they all arrived healthy and alive. They even threw in an extra of this breed and extra chicks are always a nice surprise! Several look like the picture, one is brown and another yellow. Can't wait to see what they look like as adults.
